  • Good Samaritan Rescue

      A deer was hit by a car on Highway 124 near Pleasant Hill Road in Lithonia and a group of Good Samaritans stopped oncoming traffic to keep the deer from being hit by other vehicles. The deer was hit on the opposite side of the highway and managed to crawl across the median. It suffered broken hind legs. Animal control was called to the rescue.
